Deckorators Cedar Railing Connectors

Pack of 2 Connectors in Cedar.Railing Connectors make attaching the railings to posts quick and easy. This highly durable plastic is pre-drilled to ensure accurate attachment of the railing to the post. The railing connectors can be used on both wood and composite materials. Designed to be used with a standard 2 x 4, outside dimensions of connector is 2 1/2"W x 4" H. Two connectors per pack, screws are provided. For use with horizontal rails.

 

 

1.)  Measure the distance between two posts and subtract 1/2". Cut rails to length.

 

2.)  Attach a connector to each end of rail with 2 screws (provided) through the predrilled holes.

 

3.)  Set the rail at the desired height and check to make sure the rail is level. Once level fasten with 3 screws (provided) through the predrilled holes.

 

4.)  Cover the screws with the provided caps. Note: to insure the covers stay in place, apply a small amount of clear silicon.
